New Venue, Same Aloha
We’ve made improvements for the fifth annual AV Uke Fest thanks to feedback from our friends.
Festival information, including ticket sales, schedule and location will be posted here soon. In the meantime, here are some highlights from this year’s festival!
New Venue – We’re moving AV Uke Fest to the beautiful Larry Chimbole Center in Palmdale. This move brings the performance stage and workshop classrooms all under a single roof, in a venue surrounded by trees and grass. This means more time for strummin’ and hummin’ in our workshops and shows in a soothing atmosphere.
New Artists – We’re celebrating our fifth festival with some of the biggest names in the ukulele world, Craig Chee and Sarah Maisel! If that’s not enough, long-time friends of the festival Heidi Swedberg, Daniel Ward and The Naked Waiters will be joining us again this year! We also have the AV’s newest uke sensation Mike and Mike Island Music!
One Day Festival – Is there such a thing as too much ukulele? Maybe not, but we know you’re busy. We’ve brought our festival back to a one day schedule, leaving you the rest of your weekend to show off all the neat things you learned at AV Uke Fest (or chores).
Schedule and lineup subject to change and artist availability. Workshops are limited to room capacity and are provided on a first come first serve basis.
